Come discover the joy of breathing underwater. We provide ALL the gear in an indoor heated pool. A PADI PRO goes over the basics and then you get a chance to see if scuba diving is for you.

Join us at the Philadelphia Quarry. We will set you up in all the gear, a PADI Instructor will show you the basics, and take you on your first dive.THIS EXPERIENCE COUNTS AS YOUR FIRST OF FOUR CHECKOUT DIVES so make sure your instructor signs off on it.
Cost is $25 and is applied to the Open Water class cost when you sign up.

Scuba Diving Basics
- BREATHE - The most important rule in scuba diving, never hold your breathe
- Statistically recreational scuba diving is as safe as bowling
- Mask clearing - easy for some but your body has to
learn: IN through the mouth OUT through the nose
- Moving slowly is best
- Scuba diving is no longer a macho sport
- Age 10 through "none of your business"
