| At Adventure Scuba Diving, children are an important part of
our shop and our lives, so we strive to have programs that get
the whole family diving. Scuba Diving is an extremely
ADVENTUROUS and exciting sport. Until just a few years ago, only
older kids and adults could do it. Not anymore!
Now we have programs for kids ages 8 and up!
With the
PADI
Seal Team, kids
can enjoy the thrill of scuba diving in a pool/confined water,
and have lots of fun doing it. Please note that
participants are not certified divers, and can only dive
in a pool under the supervision of an Instructor, not in open
water. However, at least once a year we will be taking the group
to a local quarry and, through the Discover Scuba program, give
them the chance to do some more exciting dives! If you are
looking for a new youth activity that’s way beyond soccer,
karate and scouts, check out scuba diving! What’s So Cool
About This?
J Kids
are part of a special, elite group: scuba divers.
J Kids accomplish things that will
amaze themselves-and you.
J Kids
build confidence, self-esteem, and pride.
J Unlike many other sports, scuba can be enjoyed for a
lifetime.
J You can do it with
them AND they’ll think it’s cool!
Who can
participate? This is for any active kid age 8-12. The
children of divers and non-divers are equally welcome. Kids
should have basic swimming skills, be comfortable in the water,
and be in good health. They are expected to make a commitment to
learning proper diving skills and following safe diving
practices-and to have FUN!
How to get involved.

learn snorkeling skills, scuba skills, and water safety
